As the world continues to become more materialistic, we tend to forget our souls & character are fueled by energy that begins within. Building ourselves from the inside out should always take priority over the ever changing ways we tend to mask ourselves with materialistic things. Feeling good about yourself begins with you, and only then extending it outward to things is worthwhile.
The beauty about becoming the perfect version of yourself is that it’s an endless ladder. This chase is life long, and everyday we have the opportunity to enrich ourselves and increase our value. On the other hand, materialistic things are always being replaced. We find ourselves looking forward to the next thing as the ones we own become irrelevant. However, there’s nothing wrong with loving nice things when your priorities are straight and begin within.
